La Leche League

Breastfeeding organization La Leche League (LLL) is a volunteer organization of mothers who want to share their experience and knowledge about breastfeeding with other mothers. LLL has a wide network of local volunteers (LLL leaders) who make themselves available to answer your questions about breastfeeding, share information about breastfeeding or offer a listening ear.

You can also use LLL's national telephone helpline: 0111 413 189. This number is available from Monday to Friday from 09.30 - 11.00, 13.30 - 15.00 and 20.00 - 21.30.

COSTS

There is no charge for telephone help and information or for help via e-mail. For an individual appointment (at your home or at an LLL leader's) a volunteer fee may be charged.
