Overdue treatment

Discover the overdue treatment for pregnant women starting from 40+ weeks (sometimes earlier*). The purpose of the overdue treatment is to relax your body, prepare it for labor and provide stimulation that could help induce labor. You can also plan the treatment before/after sweeping of the membranes or a balloon placement! At home or on Kruislaan in Hoofddorp.

Various methods can be applied, such as:

• Stimulating pressure points
• Use aromatherapy
• Massage techniques

The masseuse Belinda is also a midwife. In addition to the treatment, she can let you feel how your little one is lying and you can listen to the heartbeat together, if you like.

The treatment does not guarantee that your labor will begin. But we will do as much as possible to stimulate labor naturally. You can also schedule this treatment before/after sweeping of the membranes or a balloon placement! In this way we combine as many techniques as possible so that you can hopefully meet your baby soon.

*For example, if you are induced before 40 weeks, we can discuss together whether we can bring the treatment forward.

Who

Belinda is a midwife, masseuse, ScarCare practitioner, holistic practitioner and a young mother. Due to her experience in obstetrics, as a practitioner and as a mother, she knows the various challenges that can arise during this vulnerable period. Her treatments are always with a soft touch and a holistic approach. She combines medical science, Traditional Chinese Medicine and naturopathy in her treatments.

Where

The overdue treatments are given at PUUR Geboortecentrum, on Kruislaan in Hoofddorp. After a balloon placement or sweep of the membrane, treatment at home is also possible.
