Follow up check

There is a follow-up check six weeks after delivery. If you wish, you can call the practice a few weeks after your birth to make an appointment. During the follow-up, we will measure your blood pressure and iron levels, and if necessary, we will see how your stitches have healed and whether your uterus is back in its old place.

We talk about your experiences and that's why it's nice to meet the person who supervised your birth. Depending on the situation, we do additional checks. We will also discuss contraception with you.

The check-up is primarily meant for you, but we love it when you bring your baby! If you have a nice picture for the picture frames on the wall of the Birth Center, take it with you and we will hang it up.

FOLLOW-UP CHECK AT THE GYNECOLOGIST

If you gave birth at the gynecologist, you may have been given an appointment for a follow-up check-up at the outpatient clinic when you were discharged from the hospital. You no longer need to make an appointment with us, but if you would like to stop by, you can always do that. We are always very curious to know how you and your baby are doing.
