Warm

During your pregnancy, you are usually warmer than usual. You will also perspire more than usual during your pregnancy.

CAUSE

Under the influence of pregnancy hormones, a lot is suddenly changing in your body. Your metabolism is running at full speed. Your skin has more blood flow and feels warmer. You can feel it especially well during the winter months. You also produce about 1.5 litres of extra blood during pregnancy. This increases the blood flow in your body, including your skin and sweat glands.

TIPS

  • Drink enough.
  • Wear airy clothes that are not too tight, preferably made of breathable fabrics such as cotton.
