- 1 or 2 aluminum jugs with covers

- bottle of 70% alcohol *

- digital thermometer (not an ear thermometer)
- 1 pack of zigzag wadding (100 grams) *

- 1 packet of maternity pads (large) *
- 2 packs of sanitary napkins *
- 2 mesh shorts *
- 2 sets of bed change
- a measuring jug or bottle to rinse your stitches with

HOME BIRTH
If you want to give birth at home, you will also need:
- 2 garbage bags
- 2 buckets
- If you want to give birth on the birthing stool, a piece of plastic (or a garbage bag) to protect your carpet is nice.
- a good single light source, such as a spotlight, desk lamp or running light for extra illumination
- possibly a mirror

- 6 sweaters / pants or playsuits size 50/56
- 2 small caps
- 12 hydrofi nappies
- 6 hydrophilic washcloths
- 6 wipes
- 1 mattress 6 cm (cot)
- 1 mattress 9 cm (cot)
- 1 flannel or flannel cover as mattress protector
- 2 under-sheets or fitted sheets
- 2 top-sheets
- 2 blankets (wool or cotton)
- 1 or 2 metal aluminum jugs with covers
- 1 changing mat + 2 covers
- 1 baby bath + stand or tummy tub
- 1 baby shampoo
- 1 bath oil
- 1 baby ointment
- 1 hairbrush and comb
- 2 bathrobes
- 1 thermometer (not an ear thermometer)
- 1 nail file (not an iron file)
WITH BOTTLE FEEDING
If you are going to bottle feed:
- 2 bottles including teats

- 1 pack of bottle formula; standard 1
